Skeleton Leaves Necklace

These are real leaves that have had their pulp removed and what remains are the veins. These leaves are from the Rubber Tree (Ficus Elastica). They can be found randomly at higher end craft stores.

I dipped in an resin to give it strength, and fills in some of the gaps of where the pulp one resided. The three leaves are flexible.  They are attached to jump rings and strung on a wire.  Using wire helps limit any distractions from our gorgeous focus points.

Steampunk Clock Necklace

I was thinking one day, Why do the clock hands have to be IN the clock? How come it can't be outside of the clock?

That's how I came across making this.

and perfectly, the hole in the center turns it into the perfect necklace pendant.

Oh, I really heart this necklace. But I don't know if I'll ever wear it. So I'll put it up on Etsy for sale for now. If I ever decide I know what to do with this piece I'll either take it down from Etsy or make another one.

Board Games into Pendants

So I purposefully went to a thrift store to pick up a Monopoly game because I thought it would be cool to make some jewelry out of some favorite past times. But how do I translate the game pieces into wearable art without making a shoe and an iron into a Charm Bracelet?

Let’s dump it all into a bottle cap! It’s this cool. Now you owe me $6 for landing here.

Oh, oh, and I found some Mahjong tiles in my beading supplies.

I'm matching it up with some Green Seed Beads and Voila!

FYI that says "Nine Thousand" on the tile, think of it as an equivalent to a poker card's 9 of Spades

Just like the rest of my Bottle Cap Pendants, glue on a Bail and a nice matching Ribbon.

Materials: Bottle Caps, Beads, Monopoly Set, Bails, Ribbons
